What does the device itself cost?
Manufacturers rarely publish their device prices. The following ranges come from store listings and comparison articles, as of October 2026.
| Device class | Cited price | Source |
|---|---|---|
| Device sold online | around €11,900 incl. VAT | Store listing of a supplier, October 9, 2026 |
| Widely used studio systems | more than €35,000 to more than €40,000 | Comparison articles on medsys.at and goldgrube-franchise.de |
| Devices from the practice and clinic sector | over €50,000 to over €80,000 | The same comparison articles |
The comparison articles come from sites with their own business interests. Take the figures as a rough guide and always ask the supplier for the total price including delivery, introduction and warranty.
What does leasing or financing cost?
For the online device mentioned above, leasing is listed from around €227 a month. For more expensive systems, the installments are higher. Exactly how high depends on the term, down payment and residual value.
Always add up all installments and compare the total with the purchase price. Also ask whether maintenance and repairs are included in the installment.
What ongoing costs come on top?
The device price is only part of the calculation. These items come up regularly during operation:
- NiSV expertise (the qualification required under Germany’s NiSV regulation): the training course before you start and a refresher every five years (§ 4 NiSV).
- Maintenance, repairs and whether there is a replacement device in case of a breakdown.
- Insurance, such as business liability insurance that covers the application.
- Space: rent or a share of floor space, electricity, cleaning and hygiene.
- Marketing: website, Google listings, ads, flyers and posts.
- Software for appointment booking and checkout.
- Depending on the model, license or system fees. One franchise system on the market, for example, lists an ongoing 10 percent of net revenue.
What do clients pay per session?
That varies too. A report on a franchise system cites around €39 for a 22-minute session (gewinn.com, March 10, 2025). For medical practices with devices from the practice sector, a consumer portal cites just under €145 per session (infomedizin.de, accessed October 9, 2026).
What a session costs at Good Vibes studios is listed openly on our pricing page. How much you charge as a partner is up to you.
How do you calculate your own break-even point?
The basic calculation is simple: add up all monthly costs, i.e. installment or depreciation, space, insurance, maintenance and marketing. Divide the total by your price per session. That gives you the number of sessions per month at which your costs are covered.
Whether you reach that number depends on your location, your price, your clients and your marketing. Nobody can reliably promise it to you. We work through it with your own assumptions in the intro call, as an example and not as a promise. Clarify taxes and depreciation with your tax advisor.
What does it cost to start with Good Vibes?
We don’t publish a flat figure, because it depends on your path: an add-on in your business, an in-house studio or a new studio of your own. In the intro call, we tell you all costs upfront, in writing, so you can compare them with the figures on this page.
