Become a partner · Care homes and senior living

An activity you do sitting down.

In your home, movement and company are part of the daily program. The Good Vibes chair adds seated training, fully clothed, in a quiet room of its own: for residents, for relatives, for your team and for guests from the neighborhood.

Space, staff, clients

How the chair fits into your home.

Senior residences, assisted living, day care centers and care homes have rooms, a fixed weekly schedule and a team that knows the people in the building.

A quiet room in the building

About 10 to 12 m², with a door, easy to reach and with space to sit down and stand up. You receive the exact requirements in writing.

Part of the weekly schedule

The chair gets fixed slots in the activity program, next to the exercise class and the coffee afternoon. Anyone who likes can sign up.

Open to relatives, staff and neighbors

You decide who uses the offering: only the home, or also relatives, staff and guests from the neighborhood.

NiSV expertise

A person with NiSV expertise (a qualification required under Germany’s NiSV regulation) must look after the chair, usually after a certified training course. We organize it.

Day to day

How it works in your home.

A resident signs up for an appointment at reception or with the activities team. The first time, someone from your team takes time for a preliminary talk, asks about the manufacturer’s contraindications and explains how the chair works. After that she sits fully clothed on the chair for 28 minutes, and someone from the team stays nearby and within reach.

In a home that provides care especially, the line matters: the chair is training and a voluntary extra. It is not part of care and does not replace medical or therapeutic treatment. On notice boards and in the activity program, you talk about movement and everyday life, not about complaints. You get ready-made copy from us that stays on the right side of that line.

If you open the offering to guests, people from the area can also find you through the studio finder on goodvibes-studios.de. Inquiries from your area go to you.

Your room

Our suggestion: The Quiet Room.

For your home, the Quiet Room usually fits: wood look, linen curtain, a large plant and warm light. With more space, the Lounge with Café Bar works too, as a meeting place.

Honestly

What you should clarify first.

We’d rather tell you what needs doing beforehand than afterward. We help you with all of it.

  • The manufacturer’s contraindications are more common in this age group, for example a pacemaker or metal implants in the pelvic area. With an artificial hip joint, it depends on the material: check the implant pass. The manufacturer’s list is what counts.
  • There is always a preliminary talk before the first session. If in doubt: consult a doctor first, then book the appointment.
  • Each person gives their own consent before the first session. If a legal guardian has been appointed, you involve the guardian and obtain their consent.
  • The chair is not a care service and is not covered by care or health insurance; it is a self-pay offering. Keep it separate from care and support services in your price list and communication.
  • NiSV expertise for the person who looks after the chair.
  • The device must be reported to the competent authority before it is put into operation (§ 3 NiSV). We show you which details are required.
  • Clarify with your operating organization whether and how the offering fits your home, and whether it wants to involve the supervisory authority for care homes.
  • Notices and advertising with no reference to illness. General information, not legal advice.

General information, not legal advice. We clarify which rules apply to your business in the intro call and with the manufacturer.

A dedicated Good Vibes area inside your business, with its own look.

Questions

Frequently asked questions.

Is the chair a care service?

No. Good Vibes offers the chair as training, as a voluntary self-pay extra. It is not part of care and is not covered by care or health insurance.

Can every resident use the chair?

No. The manufacturer lists contraindications, for example a pacemaker or metal implants in the pelvic area. That is why there is a preliminary talk before the first session and, if in doubt, a consultation with a doctor.

Who looks after the chair?

A person from your team with NiSV expertise, usually after a certified training course. We organize it with you. General information, not legal advice.

Can relatives and outside guests come too?

Yes, if you want that. You decide whether the offering is only for the home or also for relatives, staff and the neighborhood. Agree this with your operating organization.
